Chad's Salon construction

Went to help with Chad's salon construction & clean up. It was so nice to see everyone so involved & helpful. Spent the day cleaning the front windows and door, putting together the rolling carts and chairs. It was great to see Chad's family after all these years-his mom Jackie, his sister Becky with niece Melissa and her daughter Kiera-who was a total joy to be with & , of course, his bro Craig (posing with the boxed wine, although he doesn't drink).
I so enjoyed visiting with Angie, sans kids, and when we went for sustenance for everyone at Wendys and I ended up spilling a 32 oz coke down my back. NICE! It was a great day and it was nice to be able to help Chad & Michael get salon b up and going. I am so proud of Chad & think every woman should have her hair done by him at least once in their lifetime. He is that good. Call him for your appointment at 801-746-3059. Good luck Chad! I love you!!!!!XOXOX
Note to self: I love & respect Chad Lott.

Mothers Day Week early Brunch with GG

G.G.(Great Grandma or Grandma Ellen) had a nice Mother's Day Brunch a week before Mother's Day. Mom brought Kim's 2 youngest, Emmy and Delaney. Aunt Nola came and me and my two youngest. It was a beautiful brunch with great food, piano music and great company.
G.G. didn't like her current photo, so we took some to see if we could find a new one for her. I like this one the best out of the ones I took of her. At 93, going on 94 this July, she looks fantastic and is amazingly alert, aware and in charge of her own destiny. I feel lucky to have her as the matriarch of our family, although I have not always felt this way.
Thank you Grandma for inviting me & the kids, we sure love you, and Mom I sure love you. Happy Early Mother's Day!
Note to self: Things can always change. Enjoy what is.
