Note to Self: Names have great significance and I believe everyone gets named what they are supposed to be named-it is no coincidence.

Guggie n William
When Will was learning to talk, he called Gracie...... Guh-Guh. As he got a little older, he shortened it to Gug. Later it turned into Guggie and that is what he calls her to this day. The other day, I actually heard him call her Gracie and it threw me off completely. He can say it, of course, but it rarely happens. Will is the only one that can get away with calling her Guggie. And if you ask Will what his name is, he will always say...."William".
Note to Self: Names have great significance and I believe everyone gets named what they are supposed to be named-it is no coincidence.

Will's Dream Journal
I have a junk drawer in my kitchen, which allows me to put random "stuff" away quickly. Will loves this drawer and finds things in it often. My little Sudoku books have become what he calls his "Dream Journal". I am not exactly sure where this comes from, maybe one of his favorite movies "Shark Boy, Lava Girl".
The other day, he was quiet for a little too long and I started to call for him. He didn't answer. So I started to look for him. I found him behind the kitchen island with his "dream journal", a pair of Gracie's glasses, and a pen (all from the junk drawer). He was intently coloring little circles in his dream journal.
Note to self: Keep permanent markers and scissors somewhere besides the "junk drawer".

Valentines Night Out
Sydni (a neighbor and our favorite babysitter) sat with Grace and Will. She brought them each a little valentine card and treat and helped them make me a couple of super cute valentines for me. No wonder we love her so much. We all had a fantastic Valentines Day.
Note to Self: Little things DO mean alot!
My Special Dish Washers
Hours of fun can be had at the kitchen sink. I remember Kaylee as a little 2 year old at the sink doing dishes being one of her favorite pasttimes. These two discovered how much fun it is to wash dishes together and even asked to do it again the next night. I hope they still really enjoy dishes when dishwashing becomes part of their daily chore routine.
Note to Self: The water mess is worth the fun for them and the free time for you.
Gracie's Melt Down
Note to self: Try not to laugh, this is a big deal to her.

Poom Poom Pee is thriving
I once read a book about a scientific study on the effects of prayer. Some of their experiments included plants and showed that they respond positively to prayer. I have heard that plants respond well to classical music and not so much to heavy metal music. Maybe Will's newfound love, attention and respect for this plant has helped it thrive.
Note to self: Have your kids talk to the the plants that are not thriving and see if they improve. This may help your plants AND give your children something to do when they are bored.
Cousin "D's" Happy Birthday
We always have such a good time with cousins and playing at Aunt Kim's house. We celebrated "D's" birthday by being treated to the "Hotel For Dogs" movie (thanks Uncle Jason!) and stuffed dogs for each of the kids, with their own unique collar. It was a good time. After we got home from the movie and most everyone had gone home, the three girl cousins had disappeared for a while. Gracie had come to me, while I was sitting next to Kim, and asked if she could take her shirt off to keep it dry while washing the dog. I told her to keep her shirt on and off she went. Kim eventually made a comment wondering where the girls might be, and I so "Oh, they are in the bathroom bathing one of your dogs." She exclaims, "What?!" and we go to the bathroom door and listen, I had my camera ready for some good stuff. This is what I caught as I opened the door.
The girls actually did a good job and cleaned up fairly well.
Note to self: Don't assume that Kim heard Gracie asking to take her shirt off to wash the dog and maybe ask her if she is ok with this venture.

Willy Wonka's Violet Beauregarde gum trick
Be careful what you let your children watch. I just looked over and watched Will pull out the snacks and put his big wad of gum in his ear. I asked where he learned to do that....Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-good ole Violet Beauregarde, but I'm pretty sure she put her gum BEHIND her ear.
Note to self: Keep Will's hair short so he doesn't get gum stuck in it while storing his gum IN his ear.
Ready and Waiting....for Spring!
Gracie is a good bike rider and intends on riding without training wheels this summer. She just needs to watch where she is going. She gets so easily distracted sometimes, she'll be off in the ditch and wonder how she got there.
Note to self: Remember Gracie's helmet and protective gear.

In Loving Memory of Dr. Lester Rose
He was a spry, brilliant, warm-hearted man and generous human being. He passed away January 18, 2009 and was survived by his sweet wife Joy and I am sure many, many patients, family and friends who love him.
Dr. Rose practiced as a neurosurgeon and began using the Interro (Roy's first version of the IQS) about 25 years ago. He has helped so many people in so many ways. A humble kind and gentle man, with much that he offered our world. I will dearly miss Dr. Rose and pray that his legacy lives on. God rest your Soul, Dr. Rose. I am so grateful to have known you.
Note to Self: Make sure you tell and show people while they are alive how much you love and like them.
Warts and Toads and icky things
Well, I decided, since Acacia had a wart on her wrist to use my IQS machine to find and create a homeopathic that would possibly help these 2 girls. One from pain, and the other from social embarrassment and a feeling of ickiness.
So, I make a remedy for Acacia and she takes it faithfully. I want to say that within 3 days to a week, her wart was completely gone. It's been 6 months to a year now and hasn't returned. She was happy.
Now Gracie, her pain went away almost immediately with the remedy, BUT it took a while for this planters wart to "turn inside out" and leave. I am happy to say, no surgery, no plantars wart and no trauma. It added to my belief in homeopathics and the body's ability to heal itself. I will have to post the after pics now, just so you can see.
I think it took Gracie's wart longer to disappear because hers had been around much longer.
Good times, right here.
Note to self: Warts respond very well to homeopathics and warts are viruses.
